Maghull Wind Orchestra is a community based symphonic wind orchestra, established in 1978, and provides an opportunity for local people to come together and make music as part of a welcoming and inclusive ensemble. Our repertoire is varied, and includes classical and contemporary wind band arrangements, film themes, and music from popular musicals. We perform several concerts throughout the year and are proud to support local charities. We are always pleased to connect with organisations, community groups, and charitable causes that may be interested in working with us or attending one of our events.
The aim of Maghull Wind Orchestra is to provide a high quality enjoyable and fun musical experience for all woodwind, brass and percussion musicians within the community regardless of age, ability or standard, with professional level directorship and without audition or fee.
This is a concert to help raise funds for Breadline, a charity based in Moldova.
Free admission, with donations gratefully received on the night.
